PSG: ibrahimovic, a blow to three bands?

Out of contract with Nike, Zlatan Ibrahimovic played in Adidas Tuesday night against Ajax in the Champions League. One way to PSG star to raise the stakes between the two great rivals of the football market?

He had practiced eye photographers Team to identify an amazing dress detail in the holding of Zlatan Ibrahimovic Tuesday night at Parc des Princes. Against Ajax in the Champions League (3-1), the PSG star and former face of Nike wearing Adidas shoes. Cleverly masked, certainly, but not enough that our experts do not identify Adizero F50.

The rumor of a stable change had already swelled the evening Ibra return to competition on November 9 against OM (2-0). That evening, the great Swedish had worn anonymous Nike, far from the most technical models with flashy colors which he was previously the standard bearer. "Question of comfort after his heel injury," we had then explained essentially a brand spokesman in places. Except that two days later, when asked at a press conference in Stockholm at the rally of the Swedish selection, the person had given a different explanation, which clearly question of money.

Nothing signed

"The contract has stopped there for about two weeks. Discussions are underway, he explained in reference to a two-year extension submitted by the American brand. For now, I have not signed any new contract. Today, OEMs pay you to carry their products. This is how it works. I am open to all proposals. Next, we need to find good shoes that fit you. "His choice to wear Adidas seems at least attest to the difficulty of the negotiations with Nike. Does this mean the sign that after eight years of loyalty, Ibra is about to switch from its German rival?

"To the question" Zlatan has he signed with Adidas? ", The answer is" no, "assured us Emmanuelle Gaye, the spokesman for the brand with the three stripes on Tuesday morning. This is a free man. We are absolutely delighted that he has chosen Adidas. But this is not the first time a player door without being under contract. It happened with Anelka or Ben Arfa for example. "If there is no contract, discussions are they running? "Our rule is very clear, closes our interlocutor. We never comment on any discussions with the athletes. "

Thank you in the war being waged without the two rivals on the football market (Nike claims the top spot since September, Adidas strongly denies having lost its leadership in the market), retain or pin the top of Ligue 1 player is a significant marketing challenge. Is one last question, the compatibility of an agreement with another brand Nike to showcase a PSG player leaning against the US brand (30 million euros per season until 2022). Although cohabitation are many examples, including Paris (Lavezzi plays Adidas), a divorce Ibra - Nike could blur the club communication.

Paris Saint-Germain keeping an eye on Di Maria

It seems that the Manchester United player intends to dispense with Angel Di Maria Services team, who moved this summer from Real Madrid where he thinks strongly in agreeing to sell during the next period of the summer transfer window wing.

Newspaper "Daily Express" British says that there is a French press reports say that United's plans to sell Argentine international player to Paris Saint-Germain, which strongly wishes to contract with the player since last summer.

The newspaper reported that Louis van Gaal coach for the Reds wanted to sell Di Maria giants Parc des Princes stadium in order to search for the larger goal and another player from world-class to sign him at the end of the current season.

While Express indicated that the Dutchman puts mind to move in order to contract with a duo Gareth Bale or pecking Cristiano Ronaldo Real Madrid club in order to strengthen the offensive force for the team in the next season.

It is noteworthy that there are some press reports which indicated that Di Maria / 26 years / had expressed remorse not to move to Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester United's preference is and what it might affect his career at Old Trafford and works to end next summer.

It is worth mentioning also that Chelsea is the other club aspires to contract with Bell / 24 years / 90 million compared to £ in the summer, while it is unlikely that Don Ronaldo / 29 years / leave for the Bernabeu in the coming period.

Paper Round: Liverpool set for Falcao swoop?

Is Brendan Rodgers about to pull off the transfer coup of the summer? And who is Louis van Gaal going to bolster his defence with?
LIVERPOOL LINKED WITH FALCAO DEAL: The Mail on Sunday reports that Liverpool are in the hunt for Monaco’s Colombian striker Radamel Falcao. Brendan Rodgers has talked about finding a world class replacement for Luis Suarez and they don’t come any better than Falcao, who is reportedly dissatisfied with life at Monaco. The Ligue 1 club only want to loan him out for a year, however, and will charge £12m for the privilege, plus his £200,000-a-week wages.
PAPER ROUND’S VIEW: It’s an eye-catching headline but the article itself admits the move is pretty implausible, with Real Madrid a far more likely destination. There are also some odd inconsistencies in the piece. The headline states “Liverpool still interested in Radamel Falcao” but the first line states the reverse: “Radamel Falcao is still interesting English clubs including Liverpool” and states that Liverpool are merely “monitoring” the situation. It also claims that Monaco want Madrid to buy Falcao outright, not loan him – then states the French club’s conditions for a loan. All in all, it’s pretty unconvincing stuff.

ETO’O TO SNUB LIVERPOOL FOR ARSENAL: More Liverpool striker news, this time in The Sun on Sunday. It seems Samuel Eto’o is stalling on a move to Liverpool because he hopes Arsenal will come in for him. Eto’o is reportedly “desperate” to work with Arsene Wenger.

PAPER ROUND’S VIEW: This is another very slight piece of reporting, with no quotes, not background, and not even the traditional line about Eto’o wanting to stay in London. Maybe there’s no space in the paper, or maybe there’s not a lot to this story, despite it being tagged as an ‘EXCLUSIVE’. What’s more, much as Eto’o might admire Wenger, the Frenchman is not a manager to hamper the development of youngsters like Yaya Sanogo by signing a 30-something to play ahead of him.
VAN GAAL PLANS SPENDING SPREE: Manchester United’s defeat to Swansea- with a starting XI featuring Jesse Lingard and Tyler Blackett – highlighted the need for Louis van Gaal to bolster his squad, and the Sunday Express reckons it knows LVG’s top target – Roma defender Mehdi Benatia. The paper claims United have slapped in a £24m bid, but must fight off competition from Chelsea, Manchester City and Bayern Munich.
PAPER ROUND’S VIEW: We all know United need to spend – Van Gaal stated as much after yesterday’s game. But it’s the question of how to attract quality players without the lure of European football that continues to vex them. Chelsea, City and Bayern have far less need for a defender from United, but if any of them really does have an interest in Benatia, United surely have no chance. Add to that the fact that chief exec Ed Woodward has never completed a major signing from a European club, and we can see this going the same way as deals for Fabregas, Di Maria, Hummels et al.
LVG OSTRACISES TRIO: Louis van Gaal has frozen Nani, Anderson and Wilfried Zaha from his Manchester United squad in a “brutal show of power” according to the Sunday People. The outcasts have been forced to train at different times, eat away from the rest of the first team and been “excluded from team briefings and fame play strategy sessions”. The move shows Van Gaal’s determination to show who is part of his squad and who is not, and to spell out to the trio that they should seek gainful employment elsewhere.
PAPER ROUND’S VIEW: If Van Gaal has no intention of using any of these players, it’s hardly surprising that he would remove them from first team activities, so in one sense this isn’t really surprising. But Nani, much as he might not be the Dutchman’s perfect player, actually came on as a half-time sub against Swansea. If he had been barred from team strategy meetings, that would be utterly brainless from Van Gaal. Which leads Paper Round to conclude that it’s probably not the case. Are Nani, Anderson and Zaha surplus to requirements? Almost certainly? Is LVG deliberately sabotaging players who he’s actually going to use in matches? Clearly not.

Blanc: Liverpool target Lavezzi can go

PSG Coach Laurent Blanc says Juventus target Ezequiel Lavezzi is free to leave the club, provided he wants to.
The Argentine international, who played for Napoli for five years before moving to France, is reported to have turned down a contract extension with the Ligue 1 club and has also been linked with Milan and Inter this summer.
[PSG WANT €20M FOR LAVEZZI]
“If someone wants to leave, we will not stop them,” Blanc told reporters. “I have a strong and talented team.
“We have signed the players we wanted to get and we have strengthened the positions we wanted.
“If the team remains how it is I would be very happy, but the window is still open and anything could happen until the end.
“If a player wants to go we won’t stop them and maybe we would sign someone else to replace them.”

PSG confirm Thiago Silva injury blow

Paris Saint-Germain captain Thiago Silva has been ruled out for “several weeks” with a hamstring injury.
The news comes as a real blow to the French club just one game into the defence of their Ligue 1 title.
The Brazil international suffered the problem in a friendly against Napoli and the severity of the injury was confirmed by MRI and ultrasound scans.
PSG's statement puts his recovery time at "several weeks" and it has been suggested that Silva will be sidelined for as much as five weeks.
The news means new signing David Luiz – the most expensive defender in history at a reported £50m – will have to settle into his new team without his Brazil team-mate.

PSG end pursuit of Real star Di Maria

Paris Saint Germain have confirmed they have ended their interest in signing Real Madrid winger Angel Di Maria.
The French champions were keen to sign the Argentina international but problems with Financial Fair Play meant it was difficult to push through a deal.
"We talked with (Real Madrid) president (Florentino) Perez but Di Maria was too expansive so we stopped the discussion," PSG president Nasser al Khelaifi told a news conference at the club's unveiling of David Luiz.
Di Maria has also been linked with Manchester United, Bayern Munich and Monaco but it appears he will stay with Real Madrid for now.
He only returned to training with Real this week after being given more time off by Madrid after Argentina reached the World Cup final.
Earlier reports had suggested that Madrid and PSG agreed a €75m transfer fee which would have come close to offsetting the €81m that Real Madrid signed to bring in James Rodriguez from Monaco.
OUR VIEW
Could PSG's loss be Manchester United's gain? Louis van Gaal has more pressing needs than attacking wide men but world class players do not grow on trees and if United have the type of bottomless funds that has been suggested, then they could certainly do worse than opening a dialogue with Di Maria and his people.
Real have also long lusted after Monaco striker Radamel Falcao, so a potential blockbuster swap deal should not be ruled out either.
Of course Di Maria could always stay at Real Madrid, which would please manager Carlo Ancelotti, but how he would manage to fit in all the attacking talent at Real would present a whole new challenge for the Italian.
However, we are still not willing to call a potential move to PSG completely dead. This could all be a power play from PSG to try and get Real to relax their demands and you know what? It might just work.

France midfielder Valbuena joins Dynamo Moscow

France midfielder Mathieu Valbuena has joined Dynamo Moscow on a three-year contract from Olympique Marseille, the Russian Premier League club said on Saturday.

French media said the 29-year-old, who played at this year's World Cup in Brazil, cost seven million euros ($9.40 million) and would be paid 10 million euros in total over three years.
"Dynamo is a very interesting project, and I want to take part in it," Valbuena told the club's website.
"The team`s ambitions and my goals are completely the same. I`m waiting for my debut with impatience. I will make every possible effort to achieve all club`s targets."
Valbuena had attracted interest from a host of European clubs including AC Milan, Atletico Madrid, Valencia, Sevilla, West Ham United and Queens Park Rangers.
He is Dynamo's second major signing of the close season after the Blue and Whites bought Dutch defender Alexander Buttner from Manchester United at the end of June.
Valbuena joined Marseille in 2006 from French third tier side Libourne and won the Ligue 1 title in 2009/10.
He has played 38 matches for the French national team, scoring six goals and helped his country reach the World Cup quarter-finals in Brazil.
He played in four of France's five matches at the tournament and scored against Switzerland in the group stage.
Valbuena is one of the smallest footballers in Europe at 1.66 meters.
Dynamo finished fourth in the Russian top flight last season and secured a place in the Europa League qualifiers.
They drew 1-1 at home to Israel's H. Kiryat Shmona in their third qualifying round first-leg tie earlier this week with the return scheduled to be played in Nicosia on Thursday.

Ibrahimovic: PSG's goal is to do better than last season

The Swede, who enjoyed a summer off because of Sweden's failure to reach the World Cup finals, wants to keep les Parisiens lifting trophies in 2014-15.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic has challenged his Paris Saint-Germain teammates to prove that they are a great team by building on last season's success.

Although les Parisiens won Ligue 1 for the second campaign in a row - as well as the Coupe de la Ligue - they failed to get beyond the quarterfinal stage of the Champions League as European domination continues to elude the cash-rich club.
Ahead of its Trophee des Champions clash with Coupe de France winners Guingamp, which Laurent Blanc's men also lifted last summer, the Swedish striker said he hopes PSG can build on 2013-14's victories in his third campaign at the Parc des Princes.

"PSG's goal is to do better than last season, which was fantastic with us bagging three trophies," he told reporters on Friday. "New players have joined us and they're expected to help the team progress. We're training hard and we are very focused on the continuation of success at the club. We want to advance the project.

"There is a lot of pressure, but the players here are accustomed to that. It is not enough to say we have a good team, we must show it."

With Sweden losing to Portugal in a playoff to qualify for the World Cup, the star forward had some time to relax during the summer.

"I had a good holiday. I went to the World Cup in Brazil and watched it. I have now been back training for three weeks," he said. "On Saturday we play our first official game and we can win a trophy. It's a title-winning game - if we win the first game, we can focus on other trophies. We are ready and we remain a good team, even if we are missing some players."

Les Parisiens kick off their Trophee des Champions clash with Guingamp in Beijing, China at 8 a.m. Eastern on Saturday.

PSG star Cavani brushes off Man Utd talk

Edinson Cavani has stated he is happy at Paris Saint-Germain despite renewed speculation that he could be a transfer target for Premier League clubs.

Cavani, 27, only joined PSG last summer from Napoli and scored 16 goals in 30 Ligue 1 games, but his future has been the subject of repeated speculation.
Most recently, PSG’s decision to remove the Uruguay international from some marketing material led to talk that he could be leaving the French champions.

The Daily Mirror reported that Manchester United were interested in signing Cavani, but for his part the striker insists he is happy at his current club.
"I'm sure to stay in Paris next season, why would I not?
“I feel very good in Paris. I have a contract with PSG to respect. I prefer to be here.
“But as I already said, that does not depend only on me. There are other things that can happen in the club.”
